Pros: even though I don't get much storage or emails, I get a lot of features. I have a really nice shopping cart with oscommerce, some coldfusion pages, asp.net and ms sql server 2000. The control panel is the best I've used. I'm not missing anything from the previous hosting companies I've used.

The customer service is excellent. 24 hours a day and they've even helped me with some coldfusion code issues.

I already paid $30.9 to them. My card company and i have a statement that would ensure that the debited amount was from them. But they simply denied it and told me that it was declined. This is the worst web hosting company i've experience! One more thing... their tech support s*cks! your inquiry will be answered in 4 to 5 days.

Comment about web hosting company: They never got the site transfered after over a week. The technical support was the worst I have ever experienced with any product or service I have ever had. They have no other way to get technical support except through their website. Answers are posted so you have to log back in and check to see if they have answered your question. The response time varied from about 12 hours to over 24 hours.

I asked for a cancellation of the service and a refund and have never heard from them.

With all the other choices out there, take it from me, none of them can be any worse.

Comment about web hosting company: I have been hosting with BrickHost, formerly CamWeb for over three years. In that time their services has only gotten better along with their servers.

I have had a few DNS issues accessing their servers, but these turned out to be mostly the fault of my ISP. The BrickHost support staff was very helpful in working with my ISP to resolve the issues.

My only complaint would be their support features, or lack there of, but over the past 6 months they have added a support ticket system, an online tech support chat application along with an instant support pager features.

I've been very please with BrickHost, and would give them a A or 85%.

Comment about web hosting company: The features are VERY extensive but you REALLY need the developer knowledge to maximize potential.

The pages are v-e-r-y slow to load. The control panel is confusing. I couldn't even get frontpage ext's enabled immediately. I found the control but it would not enable. I called tech support, got a live person quickly, who said I'd have to create a new web directory to enable this feature. Then I must wait 3 hours just to activate this new root directory. Then if you ever get frontpage ext's turned on, you will still need to know ASP script language, but they don't tell you this is REQUIRED before buying. They make the developer package sound as though You get all those POWERFUL features, and you can customize with html and the provided templates and your set. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. You need developer knowledge or tech support to adjust basic templates. The conrol set up makes it hard to figure out how to do basic html editing.
