companies now seem to be more common than ever
before. Just a few years ago, there were less
than a 100 web hosts. Now there are more than
several million web hosting companies. Every
company out there wants to become a reseller.
Every company out there wants to make some more
money. It is becoming easier to open your own
web hosting company. E
veryone is getting
into the business because of the easy money and
low maintenance cost. But the biggest huddle
that more people are facing is getting the
clients to sign up. Where will all the clients
come from? Will they come from word of mouth or
from your advertising. That is when you get into
trouble. Advertising for the keyword web hosting
is already $10 per click from Google. That means
for every 9 click you better get one sale that
coverts into an annual plan or you will lose
that money acquiring that client.
That means you
need to be very careful on your advertising and
make sure you don't advertise if you cannot
afford it. Having more web hosting companies is
of course good for the consumer, because it
usually means lower prices, but that doesn't
always convert into better service. The only
companies that will survive will be the
companies offering the best prices, but also top
notch customer service, which is a rarity
nowadays.
