companies due to its aggressive advertising
campaign in Hitbox, counters used by webmasters.
Since the beginning, Powweb offers everything
you would expect in the web hosting company
for $7.77 and they never raised the price
of hosting ever since.

is not only a member of Dun and Bradstreet,
but also the Better Business Bureau. Thus,
their reliability has to be in par with
other leading web hosting firms, else,
their membership with the BBB would be
gone. Their hosting has constantly remained
during our 6 month testing period with
Powweb. It is amazing to see how such
a company giving away so many features
is able to do so much. However, the site
was noticeably slow during peak hours
of the day. This is a major flaw because
customers access business websites during
this time, and a slow site means lost
sales.

with full redundancy. So if one provider
goes down, the other connection will pick
up thus maintaining the uptime of your
website. Powweb didn't mention any names
to these providers, thus making us question
the validity of their claim.

technical support is similar to other
web hosting companies providing weekday
telephone support and 24 hours and 7 days
a week email support. Furthermore, like
most web hosting companies, they offer
a 30 day money back guarantee if you are
unsatisfied with their product. Besides
that, they also offer a message forums
where users can chat with other users
for assistance on making a website or
a question about Powweb's services.
Conclusion
In
general, Powweb is a mediocre web hosting
company. They have everything you would
expect to get from a web hosting company,
but that is all. There are much better
web hosting companies out there, and I
would try them out before selecting this
heavily marketed hosting.
